It’s important not to confuse the endless stream of thoughts with meaningful insights found through reflection. True reflection is more than thinking; it is a purposeful application of thought to brings clarity to the conditions shaping our experience and experience of others.
Overthinking is pointless, while mindful and meditative reflection is a step to liberation. If we stop feeding the weeds in our mind, we also foster love, compassion and resilience.
