We could consider the 12 songs of the Rolling Stones among the rock anthems.
There is a regular theme with Mick of his struggles with desire for pleasure and then finds he experiences love in his heart and then the love fades.
1, 2 and 3 are my favourite songs of the Rolling Stones.
The Stones are a force of nature. Heavens, they are in their mid-70s.
We haven’t forgotten: “IT’S ONLY ROCK N’ROLL.”

Put down paradise as lost

On Meditation
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3P0COo6jSlY
It is the evening of the day
I sit and watch the children play
Smiling faces I can see
But not for me
I sit and watch
As tears go by
My riches can’t buy everything
I want to hear the children sing
All I hear is the sound
Of rain falling on the ground
I sit and watch
As tears go by
6. WILD HORSES
On Ethics – Lies
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qa8leK9ejrw
I know I dreamed you a sin and a lie

Wild horses couldn’t drag me away
Wild, wild horses, we’ll ride them some day

She’ll tell you it’s the only way to be
She just can’t be chained
To a life where nothing’s gained
Or nothing’s lost, at such a cost
PS. Stay well, Mick.
Clearly Mick has Buddhist leanings and he certainly, after one divorce and the suicide of a long-time girlfriend, has seen his share of suffering. I read that he once went to the ancient capital of Laos, Luang Prabang, for meditation at which time he rented two hotel rooms — one for himself and one for his luggage. Now the question is: was he carrying too much luggage or was he trying to separate himself from the material world . . .
