We held our 15th annual Dharma Yatra (pilgrimage) in a glorious and rather remote region of the French Alps from late July 2015 to early August for a 10-day period. Here are links to the photos.
A total of 144 adults and children participated in our walk that took us through beautiful rolling hills, winding paths, narrow gorges, green forests and expansive views of the peaks of the Alps. We experienced daily treks into the Garden of Eden.
Thank you to all the participants for your wonderful presence and participation in the Dharma Yatra in a remote region of the French Alps last week. Thank you, too, for your immense support to the smooth flow from day to day.
We, the teachers, appreciated the dedication of all to walking, meditating, sharing and listening to the evening Dharma talks, even after a day of walking or participating in kitchen and site crew duties.
I still marvel at the capacity of the children to walk uphill and downhill, and then return to the campsite and run around and play together.
A remarkable event. We could say the Gods of the Elements (the Weather) remained kind to us through the ten days with sun, breezes, cloud and a single day of rain to appreciate and challenge.
