Outline of Theme
Teachings go hand in hand with practices. Both support each other.
We trust the teachings/practices through the benefits we experience.
Insights into the Noble Eightfold Path deepen our levels of trust.
We might experience reduction of stress, a depth of kindness and clarity of mind.
Big and small benefits, fresh perceptions and new insights bring about greater trust.
Liberation seems to belong to a different league altogether.
How can we have trust if we have had no experience of liberation?
This session will offer ways to bridge the link between trust and liberation.
Is liberation closer than we think?
The period will include a guided meditation on the theme, a talk, plus questions and answers.
